Music publishing firm that operated in Paris beginning in 1865. After the retirement of the founding partner Félix Mackar in 1896 the firm became known became known by the surviving partner's name A. Noël (later P. Noël) which continued in operation at least until 1950.

It appears probable that Mackar (and later Noël) followed the habit of altering the plate number prefix when re-issuing older works to match the plate prefix then in use by the company.
