The company operated in Wiener-Neustedt from 1880 to 1886, according to Hofmeister's Monatsberichte, and published about 100 items, until being acquired by Max Brockhaus. The catalogue included works by Josef Pembaur, Hermann Grädener, Julius Zellner, Rudolf Bibl, Franz Krinninger, Jakob Dont, and J.P. Gotthard.
