User talk:Quaerendo Invenietis

Welcome

Dear Quaerendo Invenietis,
Welcome to the IMSLP! We would like to thank you for contributing.

Please visit our Community Portal to learn more about contributing to IMSLP. If you wish to contribute music scores (either by scanning them yourself, or by importing them from other websites), you will find all the details in the score submission guide. In case you aren't able to find the answer in those pages, you can leave a note on the forums.

Help on using this wiki can be found at the help page.

You can communicate with other users by placing a message on their talk page (click on a user's name, and then on Discussion), just like I did on your page. When logging on the next time, this user will get a notification of a new message. Replying to these messages can be done on your own talk page, or on the corresponding user's talk page. Note that there will be no notification for the other user when replying on your own page. It's always a good idea to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~), which automatically adds your user name and a datestamp.

If you want to discuss something with the whole community, you can post a message in the IMSLP forums. For very important messages, please contact the staff directly via the IMSLP staff contact list.

We're looking forward to your next submission!

Greetings!

Hi Quaerendo! I thought you may be wondering why the Flute and Harpsichord Transcription page broke... it was because there is an ampersand (&) in the page title :) I've already fixed it... just remember to use "and" instead of "&" in the page title from now on. Thanks for all the wonderful submissions! --Feldmahler 16:30, 23 May 2007 (EDT)

Thanks, Feldmahler! Yes, I was wondering what I could have done wrong... A mistake that won't be made again ! Quaerendo Invenietis 13:45, 24 May 2007 (EDT)

Hello Quaerendo! I'm Carolus, the copyright person here. Are you the editor and typesetter of the Albinoni and Caldara items that you posted recently? If not, do you have permission from the editor? If you are the editor, let us know if you would like these available under a free, non-commercial type license (see free content licenses for details). The editor listed for the Albinoni is Carlos Ramirez Guzman and that for the Caldara is [http://www.hausmusik.ch]. These works are under copyright review right now, but we'll change that when you let us know. Thanks, -- Carolus 04:13, 28 May 2007 (EDT)

Dear Carolus, As regards the Caldara item, I'm not the editor and typesetter, but I thought these files were copyright-free. If it's not the case, I'm sorry for adding it. As regards the Albinoni item, you must be mistaking me for someone else ; I didn't add any item by this composer. Quaerendo Invenietis 12:29, 28 May 2007 (EDT)
Ahh... someone using the nick "Quaerendo" submitted it. Will move note to appropriate page. :) --Feldmahler 15:38, 28 May 2007 (EDT)

Hi! I'm the "other" Quaerendo (not invenietis) I now realize the confusion. Well, I salute you and now it is clear. I suposed when registered that the system checks the duplication on nicknames, but this time was failed.... Since you are older, I agree on change my nickname. Not sure how to do it, but I'll look for it. best regards.

Hi, other Quaerendo ! Thank you very much for accepting to change your nickname ; I'm really sorry that you have been forced to do it. I would also have thought the system avoid the duplication on nicknames which are able to allow such a confusion. Quaerendo Invenietis 15:35, 29 May 2007 (EDT)

Mozart Piano Concerti

Hello Quaerendo Invenietis, Thanks for the very useful two piano reductions for the Mozart Piano Concerti. There are a few files that you will need to delete pages from due to copyright concerns, specifically where there have been cadenzas added by Paul Badura-Skoda. Here's the list:

Piano Concerto No. 25 - Need to find out who the editor is. Might have to delete the last 4 pages.
Piano Concerto No. 26 - Cadenzas by Paul Badura-Skoda on pages 55-60 (#102-107) will need to be deleted.
Piano Concerto No. 27 - Badura-Skoda's cadenzas (last page) need to be deleted.

I'll post more if I find them, but I think that's it. If you have any questions about how to eliminate pages from a PDF file or unlock it so you can do so, plate ask Feldmahler. Thanks, - Carolus 19:21, 8 June 2007 (EDT)

Hi Quarerendo

You have some great music on there of Mozart Piano Concertos. For some reason I can seem to be able to download the Mozart Piano Concerto K488 for 2 pianos.

Is this something that you could help me with as I would love to download and play this.

Kind regards.
