Usage

  • No parameters: Links to the SLUB Dresden Digital Collections homepage.
  • Parameter 1: The identifier for a specific work in the SLUB Digital catalog. The resolved URL will link directly the work's interactive view on SLUB Digital, or redirect automatically to the equivalent view on Sachsen Digital. The identifier can take one of several forms:
  1. <integer>: The integer value of the work's PURL. For example, if a work's PURL is http://digital.slub-dresden.de/id1234567890, then the value should be 1234567890. Note that a work's URN value might be very similar, but make sure to use the integer value from the PURL, not the URN.
  2. <integer>/<pagenum>: Interpreted the same as form 1, but links to a specific page of the work.
  3. <integer>X: Interpreted the same as form 1; some work PURLs end with a capital X character.
  4. <integer>X/<pagenum>: Interpreted the same as form 3, but links to a specific page of the work.
  5. <integer>-<integer>: Interpreted the same as form 1; seems to be used for periodical issues, so it will not be used very often on IMSLP.
  6. <integer>-<integer>/<pagenum>: Interpreted the same as form 5, but links to a specific page of the periodical issue.

Legacy usage

  • Parameter 1: Same forms as above but with a /ppn prefix. That prefix is still accepted by this template and SLUB redirects correctly, but it is recommended to use the above forms instead.
