this Google Books collection which is from 1902 or 1903 (the year 1902 is found multiply about 20 pages before) reports a performance of this quartet, so its premiere was by 1903.

HMB gives 1903, confirming.

There is an earlier quartet pub. 1883 in A minor by Heubner.
