Misc. Comments
- Arcangelo Corelli led the orchestra in the first performance.
- At the second performance, the role of Mary Magdalene was sung by a castrato owing to papal complaint, as women were forbidden to perform on the public stage in Rome. The replacement castrato was named "Pippo soprano della Regina," or Pippo, castrato in the former Queen Casimiri's service.
