A companion piece of 12 Folk-Dances from Denmark arranged for violin and double bass. The first movement is more akin to a duo with a sporadic piano accompaniment. It was improvised then tested as a duo with the dedicatee who suggested it could be expanded with a piano part. The other movements were added as regular trios with bizarre (i.e. punning) circumstantial titles.
