Levy Collection gives 1860 for the date, but this is a misreading of the copyright date- William Hall & Son was no longer at 239 Broadway in 1860. This was published before 1859, and in fact, in 1850.

The tense, Risoluto, diminished-chord opening of this quickstep (fortissimo on chords outlining C♭ F♭ D♮ A♭) is noteworthy.
