Mark 1:9-11 -- At that time Jesus came from Nazareth in Galilee and was baptized by John in the Jordan. As Jesus was coming up out of the water, he saw heaven being torn open and the Spirit descending on him like a dove. And a voice came from heaven: "You are my son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased."

This passage of scripture is the most obvious one in the Bible that proclaims unequivocally that Jesus is a man and a member of the Trinity. God is one being in 3 persons. Up until now in the history of the world, the Spirit might come upon a person, but would not always remain. John states that the Spirit remained on Jesus and that He was sent to baptize us with the Holy Spirit. The word baptize is a transliteration of the Greek word βαπτίζω (baptizō -- phonetically bap-tid'-zo). Baptize means immerse and implies a permanent change, not just a temporary dipping.
The piece is roughly in two-part song form. The A section begins on the anacrusis and is in a meter of two groups of 3 beats per measure. Upon its repeat it begins on beat one and is in a meter of 3 groups of 2 beats per measure. The fluttering of the dove is characterized by the grace notes and glissandos. There was not an actual dove. The Holy Spirit descended "like a dove".
