Category talk:Senfl, Ludwig

A substantial? - 542-page - edition of Senfl works, with a biography, edited by Theodor Kroyer and Adolf Thürlings and published ca.1903 can be downloaded freely, I believe, from Ohiolink.edu (Worldcat provides an intermediary - see this link.) This might be looked over as a potential source even though outdated (as everything we can actually use is, of course) ?... Eric 14:28, 24 October 2010 (UTC)

Yes - it's a wonderful link. The Senfl part begins at (pdf-) page 262. The preceeding volume contains works by composers of the 'Mannheimer Schule': Johann Stamitz, Franz Xaver Richter and Anton Filtz. --Ralph Theo Misch 16:22, 24 October 2010 (UTC)

I couldn't find any reference to Kroyer on this site (though maybe I needed to expand my search!), so I was wondering if we'd made any use of it :) I rather like what I've heard by those composers- I'm less familiar with Senfl and Filtz (except biographically) just now but hopefully that will change.
