The photograph that accompanies this article does not appear to be correct. The style of dress and quality of the photo suggest it is a late 20th century photograph. It appears to be of a Friederick Seitz, a physicist born 1811, died 2008.

The physicist bears a striking resemblance to the photo in the IMSLP, Friedrich Seitz article. While a familial resemblance can be argued, there is no mention of the physicist's parents in any of his bios. One would think if his father had been a semi-famous composer this would be mentioned.
