interesting- even in the period 1829 to 1900, some 200-plus works by one of the 3 Lickls (father, 2 sons) (or at least, with Lickl somewhere in the title) show up in HMB. Still hoping to hear one of those quartets opus 1 by JG Lickl, meanwhile (my interest was started by that very positive review of the works on the CD, especially the 3rd quartet, some 5 years ago...- anyway. yet another mostly unexplored corner to explore -- good news, I say...)
