Josef (II) Richter (19.11.1849 Wien – 1.9.1925 Wien) Hornist und Komponist. Studierte 1861–68 Horn am Konservatorium der GdM, während dieser Zeit war J. Laimegger sein Vormund. Im Schuljahr 1863/64 wohnte er unter derselben Adresse wie sein Cousin Hans. In den 1870er Jahren in Budapest tätig, war er 1888–1915 Mitglied der Wiener Philharmoniker, bis 1899 als Hornist, anschließend als Schlagwerker.
