Born blind, Augustin Queudane studied at the Institut National des Jeunes Aveugles in Paris, where he became proficient in organ and piano. He then came to Beaune-la-Rolande (near Orléans - France), hired as organist of the brand new Saint Martin Church organ, at the end of the 19th century.
