Ruth Draper, née Dana (1850-1914), pianist, arts supporter, music collector. Married William Henry Draper (1830-1901), prominent New York physician, in 1877. Her collection of first and early editions of Franz Liszt's piano music (13 volumes) were donated to the Institute of Musical Art, probably shortly after her death.
- The Juilliard School Library's Ruth Dana Collection of Liszt Editions is one of the most significant collections of early and first editions of the composer's solo piano works in the United States. Comprised of almost two hundred original piano works, transcriptions, and arrangements bound into thirteen volumes, the collection includes many editions that are unavailable elsewhere.
