Charles Hommann (1803?–1872?)
Philadelphia: C.F. Hupfeld & Son, 1847.
Identified as an arrangement for one piano by Hommann of Hünten's variations for 4-hands on the Cavatine de Crociato. This seems from a list from HMB of Hünten's works up to 1847 to be most likely opus 97 no.3 but the identification is conjectural.

Misc. Comments
Mercadante above almost definitely a typo for Meyerbeer, whose opera Il crociato in Egitto of 1824 is probably meant.
May have been published earlier than 1838 by Meissonnier of Paris (plate J.M. 973- however, comparison of this plate number with plate numbers of other Meissonnier items e.g. at the Dutch Royal Library suggests a publication date at Meissonnier also of ca.1838, so if this particular edition was published earlier, not by much.)
