Navigation etc.

Possibly performed as early as 1910. See Neue Zeitschrift für Musik, Jg. 78, 5 January 1911 issue, p.11 which reports on a wind group's performance in Weimar of a quintet by Karl Rörich (in manuscript). ("... Bläservereinigung fand ein hübsches Quintett (Manuskript) von Karl Rorich sehr freund- liche Aufnahme.") (Assuming of course he only wrote one wind quintet; however Riemann (1919, Musik-Lexicon, p.1002) only lists the one - though it does list this one! Also his symphony in D minor, string quartet in B minor, sextet for harp, flute and string quartet, introduction and allegro for strings- and other works.)

Finale seems to be a theme, variations (many tempo changes) and concluding fugue?
