Manuscript

The piano score is in Paine's hand, the original of which is at Harvard. It is not in a final state, and the reader is advised to consult the AR Editions printed edition for the 1905 revision (https://www.areditions.com/rr/rra/a017.html). The Autograph is presented here with small adjustments of placement of page numbers, etc. to allow it to be enlarged by 111% in letter size. No content changes were made. As for my hand-copied violin part, it is copied from the Paine piano autograph, not from a free-standing violin autograph part [which may not exist]. According to "Copyright Term and the Public Domain in the United States/1 January 2012" by Peter B. Hirtle, since the work is unpublished and the author died before 1942, the work is in pd in the U.S. at the least.
