According to Grove, Nardini wrote only violin sonatas, and the viola only features in some duets and quartets, so this is most likely an arrangement of one of the violin sonatas. Also, Grove lists most of Nardini's violin works as "vn, b" or "vn b (hpd/vc)" so without seeing the original of this specific sonata, it is impossible to tell whether a full continuo was intended.
