Upload fine points

Dear Richard,

You appear to have picked up the basics fine. Here are a couple of fine points about uploading you might find helpful:

  1. No need to mention the page count. The system reads this automatically - though it's always good to check as it seems to not like some files and gives no page count or an inaccurate one. Most files generated from notation programs seem to be easily read.
  2. Put your name in the "Publisher" field instead of the "Editor" field. It is assumed that a composer is the editor of his own work. Making things available here meets the legal definition in most locales on the planet.
  3. In the "Scanner (Typesetter)" field, put in either "composer" or your name instead of the name of a notation program.
