Dear Gil Garty, Please do not add superfluous workpages. We already have a page which includes Bach's, BWV 1036. Your edition will be moved there shortly. Thanks, Carolus 22:45, 9 October 2009 (UTC) (IMSLP Copyright Admin)
Dear Gil, Thanks for uploading your new edition of the Quantz Trio Sonata. Is there any way vou can combine the files? For example, a number of the files you uploaded are single-page files. Since your new editions are PDFs generated from a music notation program (looks like Finale), the file-size is quite small and there is no reason to split them up into separate movements. Generally speaking, scores are split up into separate movements when the file size exceeds 20 MB, which happens only with scans made of older printed and manuscript scores. I am thinking our users might find your editions more convenient if you had single files for the score and the individual parts for the complete work. Also, since you've been making new editions, you might want to think about using the Non-commercial or Share Alike versions of the Creative Commons license, as there appear to be a number of folks who like to copy all the files on IMSLP and re-sell them as CDs and DVDs on Ebay. Obviously, public domain items are free game, but we don't necessarily think that new typesets and editions should be treated as such unless you want them to be (in which case use the basic Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 license). BTW, just to show you what it looks like when the files are combined, I went ahead and combined your files for the Quantz - so the suggestion is for your future uploads.
