Misc. Comments
James Duff Brown's "Biographical dictionary of musicians" refers to it, with the notation "MS", in 1886. It may of course have been composed substantially earlier. (Actually, the Niederrheinische Musik-Zeitung für Kunstfreunde und Künstler: Volume 15, Page 199, 1867 June 22, mentions 2 trios for harp, violin and cello by Oberthür in manuscript.)
archive.org claims earlier publication in 1888? (cannot locate other evidence of this at present.)
