Dedicated to Olivier Messiaen and Marcel Dupré. The theme is Noël Nouvelet, octatonicized. Not intended for smaller organs. The pauses in the closing manual flourish should be quite long, but the quavers should fly. The trill preceding the chromatic scale should also be chromatic.
