The attribution of 'Those Evening Bells' to Beethoven is probably spurious and probably based on 'Those ev'ning bells : ballad' published by Hart, London. WorldCat gave the information that the words were by Thomas Moore, and the music composed & arranged with an accompaniment for the piano forte by L.V. Beethoven.
