"Joseph Holbrooke: Composer, Critic, and Musical Patriot" gives "1915 August?" for premiere date and "Schmidt" as the conductor (Ole Schmidt?) however, Paul Rodmell's "Opera in the British Isles..." notes "the ballet-opera The Enchanter (1914) is frequently stated to have been performed in Chicago in spring 1915 but no performance has been traced".
