This work appears from the original scores to be for literally 2 violins, 1 viola, 1 cello, 1 double bass. (the instruments are identified in singlular). Other scores identify plural - violini, celli etc. Does anyone know what the composer intended? I will list it as a work for string orchestra - I imagine it is frequently played this way. --Homerdundas 14:43, 25 October 2010 (UTC)
