Talk:Poudre d'or (Satie, Erik)

According to Worldcat anyhow, -poss.- pub. 1901 by Rouart, or else later (1912 or later) by Salabert - not 1902 by Baudoux? Since the downloaded score looks like a scan from a later reprint, lacking plate information or other provenance, impossible to tell... (Schissel)

Since Rouart, Lerolle & Cie. was founded in 1905 via the acquisition of Baudoux, it's not really possible for them to have issued anything in 1901 or 1902. This is often a problem with library listings like WorldCat. They fail to take into account when publishers were sold or absorbed by other publishers and go on a date from a reissue. Salabert eventually absorbed Rouart, Lerolle & Cie. but they would not have been printing anything until after 1941. Carolus 06:55, 16 October 2010 (UTC)
