Fragments of Opus 49, No. 2 sound like they were written by Mozart. Mozart would use duplet/triplet alternations, which Beethoven used later in his sonatas, like the third movement of Sonata No. 8

The development section of the sonata seems very short. Both the Exposition and the Recapitulation are disproportionately wrong.

There is one measure that is used the exact same (except transposed) in Sonatina in G, AnH. 5.
