Are there different versions for the original overture? Which version is most authentic? These questions I'd like to ask with specific reference to the cello part, in particular the last passage - starting @ the Piu mosso section - the part given here seems to have doubling of violin part. Other cello parts I have seen just have cello providing the bass there (for those crotchet chords of the rhythm: 1 - - 4 1 - - 4 1 - - 4 1 - - 4 etc.) any thoughts on this? Thank you :)
