I wonder if the english translation of this book is in public domain.
Here is what i found on the A.Schoenberg wikipedia page :
"Translation by Roy E. Carter, based on the third edition, as Theory of Harmony. Berkeley, Los Angeles: University of California Press, 1978."
My question is quite simple: can i upload it or not ?
- Not the 1978 translation. It is under copyright worldwide. Schoenberg's original text is free in both Canada and the USA. I don't think there was an English version issued before 1923.
