Talk:Angelens letzter Tag im Kloster, Op.27 (Raff, Joachim)

... arguably should be moved into a workpage for opus 27, then... hrmEric 00:38, 14 June 2011 (UTC)

No arguably about it. That's the general rule we attempt to follow. The piece was added before it was known to be an excerpt from Op.27. Carolus 01:01, 14 June 2011 (UTC)

Reminds me and quite possibly related, hrm. Tracking the source of some of the works from- doesn't say the source of this one- there is a scan of this same publication at LOC but it might have been found elsewhere by Guifre?... - anyhow, tracking some of the scans at LOC (not because of LOC but because of printing habits in the US in the late 19th century, of course) does seem difficult sometimes. To the point where even when the editor does provide the opus number the original work came from, I sometimes wonder if it might have been misremembered, etc. And then related to that, there's the case of Samuel Jackson who had his own system of opus numbers that he applied to his arrangements, having nothing to do with the works they were arrangements of... a whole other story. Well, challenges are good...) Eric 03:29, 14 June 2011 (UTC)

Always makes our tasks around here more challenging .... if folks had any idea of the crazy stuff that gets published! Carolus 03:35, 14 June 2011 (UTC)
