Talk:Ad te levavi oculos meos, LV 405 (Lassus, Orlande de)

Missing opening page(s?) Richard Mix 07:17, 29 April 2010 (UTC) Looking at http://gallica.bnf.fr/ark:/12148/bpt6k103658m.image.f5, this might be better moved to "Simphonie du Miserere fait par Mr. Orlande de Lasus (Anon.)" ie, 'anonymous overture to Lasso's Miserere'

The upload of the Magnum opus musicum allows an identification of this item as most of the secunda pars (second part) of the motet Ad te levavi oculos meos, item 449 in the collection. The text for the motet, Miserere nostri Domine quia multum repleti sumus despectione, quia multum repleta est anima nostra opprobrium abundantibus et despectio superbis, has been removed, but otherwise the piece is mostly the same as the original except for a large cut just before the final cadence (which is handled rather amateurly). The missing page 83 is of course found in the previous file from the collection, Allemande en A-mi-la (Lavallez, Monsieur de). Cheers Philip @ © talk 00:26, 22 March 2011 (UTC)
