Talk:4 Fantasias, Op.72 (Moscheles, Ignaz)

3 Fantasias, not 4?

It would seem that Op. 72 contains just 3 Fantasias, not 4 as the title of the page says. If you look at the title page on the scores, it says "Trois Fantaisies".

I don't quite know whether I should change the page's title to say 3 instead of 4. The list of the composer's works also gives it as 4. Are there reasons for this that I don't know of? Maybe a 4th piece was added to the opus after the first three were published, so that they didn't give the correct final number of pieces in the opus? Can anyone clarify this further? Hello,
I'm no Moscheles expert but the Pazdirek encyclopedia says: -72 N. 1. Hobbypianist 17:02, 29 December 2009 (UTC)

The Schlesinger edition previously uploaded combines the Fantasias nn.3,4 and the first part of another Moscheles WoO, the Rimembranze Teatrali (published in Milano by Ricordi).
