Navigation etc.

Actually, alternative title is "Suite No. 2 (Cm.) f. Pfte zu 4 Hdn. (Toccata. Serenata. Gavotte. Canon. Sostenuto e cantabile. Finale.)" but fully titled like that one might have to tag Suites; toccatas ; serenatas ; gavottes ; canons; cantabiles ; finales and our rules suggest otherwise.

A Suite No.1 for Piano 2-Hands followed as Op.155 later (Suite No.1, Op.155 (published 1898). One assumes a Suite No.1 for piano 4-hands preceded this one as this was published as suite no.2 in 1881. To avoid confusion, the two series of suites should be distinguished at least in this title.

Answer: Suite No.1 for Piano 4-Hands is Op.25, 1879, published by Rahter. (There is also a Suite No.4 for Piano 4-Hands, Op.53, 1886, published by Aibl.)
