- A study in double notes (primarily thirds) on Chopin's Minute Waltz. Rosenthal, known for his astounding double notes, once heard a colleague play this arrangement at a concert and, afterwards, went up to the pianist and thanked him "for the most enjoyable quarter of an hour of my life". A very cleverly worded insult!
