Misc. Comments

Allmusic estimates composition date as closer to 1919. (Likewise Mats Lidstrom's notes (PDF) to his recording on Hyperion (which also give the year of the violin sonata as 1909, note.) Naxos on the other, goes with 1922. Don't know of any more contemporary evidence (letters, a biography of Pierné) that might explain the difference.
