History

Sirius-Verlag, directed by Franz Sobolka, published popular music in Berlin and Vienna from 1928. The catalog included composers such as Robert Stolz (1880-1975) and Roderich Bass (1873—1933). There was also, from 1928 to 1933, a monthly magazine known as Sirius-Mappe (Monatshefte für Musik, Theater und Literatur). Sirius was bought by Heinrichshofen's Verlag in 1969.
