Misc. Comments

early instalments, as often with publications elements of sets sold separately in the 19th century USA (for example), list only the works that were in preparation at the time - for example the title page of the Te Deum in C only lists instalments 1 to 6- so there might well have been a ninth work added later. An expert on Lejeal's liturgical music might be able to clarify. Given the number "2" here (not on score) because 2 Vespers services were published one before and one after this - there may well be more of these by Lejeal, however. There is no unity of key to allow for a title such as Service in C major (say). - Schissel
