Recorded by the Linos-Ensemble on cpo with Opus 28, and also in 1985 by "the Sinfonietta" on the Auvidis label.

Also, published by Richault in 1844 (as - again - was his 2nd septet Op.28). - Schissel

This is the same work as Piano Quartet No.1, Op.26 (the latter is an arrangement of this work) and one of these should be moved to the other (either we should have both septet pages with the quartets in the arrangements and transcriptions sections of each, even though we don't presently have parts for the septet version of quartet no.2- actually, that seems the better idea, because the septet -is- the original version in any case.)
