Contains arias from opéra comiques by Grétry, Rodolphe, and Lefroid de Méreaux. No. 6 is simply labelled as "Romance" with no composer. A modified version of the text was later used in a voice and harp/piano piece from 1810 titled "Romance de M. O." (set to different music). It is unknown if M.O. is the librettist or composer.
