NB. This edition contains some notation errors: The "8" sign under a note always means "add the lower octave" in Liszt's notation. For example, the last note of the sonata should not be removed and placed one octave lower, as rendered in this edition, but the right way is to merely add the lower octave, thus ending the sonata in an octave chord. (cf. Henle editions)
