Paraphrase sur Mandolinata de Paladilhe (Saint-Saëns, Camille)
Miami Lakes: Masters Music Publications, 1989.
A puzzlement; Teller-Ratner (who does confirm from letters that the date of composition is 1869) and BNF give the Hartmann plate for this 1869 edition as G.H. 280, not 429. Could it have sold out so quickly as to require entirely new plates? What goes on? (And is the Heugel a reissue or a wholly new edition with new plates? This is unclear absent first editions &c. ...)
Mainz: B. Schott's Söhne, . Plate 20448.
Original images: 300dpi, color jpg files approx. 2750 by 3600 pixels. Editing: converted to black and white tif files, de-skewed, re-sampled to 600dpi, and set uniform margins.
