Misc. Comments
An 1884 issue (14 Septembre) of Le Ménéstrel notes a performance, not the premiere-- the writer notes an earlier performance conducted by Pasdeloup. BNF has (not yet scanned?) a reduction for piano solo by the composer. - Schissel Bibliographie de la France 1886, page 233 (reduced forms, not full score). (Wanted: info on orchestral layout, location of parts/full score.)
