Misc. Comments

According to the composer's own memoirs, the first performance was 9 Feb 1789 in London on the first Professional Concert. The concerto was originally for oboe and performed on the oboe by the composer. The alternative solo instruments flute or clarinet were probably added at the time of publication to increase sales.
