Published ca.1814 by C.F. Peters or earlier. (Plate no. 1096. See RISM and Peters' plate table.) Note from RISM page on Peters publication edition:
"Die Messe ist von Johann Gottfried Schicht durch die Kompositionen des "Gloria in excelsis Deo" sowie des "Credo in unum Deum" ergänzt worden. Diese beiden, auf der letzten Seite S. 21 der Partitur abgedruckten Teile erläuterte Schicht mit folgenden Worten: "Avvertimento. Le parole: Gloria in excelsis Deo! come ancora: Credo in unum Deum, essendo non messe in Musica dall' Autore, hanno causato a fare una nuova Composizione. Il sotto scritto si e tolto la licenza a camminar su l'orme d'un si gran Maestro Fux; per questo si giustifichera l'ardir mio. Giovanni Goffredo Schicht."
(Is Schicht claiming that the published composition in 1814 was partially - the Gloria and Credo - by him, perhaps Fux' music for those two sections had gone missing? - Schissel, who should just run that through a translator... hrm. ...!! )
The Prague copy has a part for violone, so not all copies are for unaccompanied chorus only. (This could be spurious/editorial addition...) This copy gives the dedicatee of the work as Karl VI, Roman-German Emperor.
