Misc. Comments
Once attributed to Johann Sebastian Bach in the appendix as BWV Anh.26. Now considered to be by Francesco Durante. A copy was made by JS Bach around 1727, leading to the inaccurate composition date of 1727-32. Bach then inserted a new Christe, Christe eleison in G minor, BWV 242 (Bach, Johann Sebastian), possibly for performance.
