Extra Information One of the most important sources of the early madrigal (with more than a third of the pieces unique to this collection), the general consensus is this collection was compiled around 1526, based on concordances with other manuscripts. None of the pieces are attributed in the collection, and most are unknown, though Verdelot and Festa are each represented by six pieces.
