The zarzuela La revoltosa is unrolled in the epoch of the premiere (1897) in a neighbors court of Madrid. I put in November 27,1897 in the theatre Apolo, there was present af the premiere the famous composer Camille Saint-Saëns, it is said on that after listening to the duo of Felipe and Maripepa commented...Since it is possible that in Spain they call this do I"Genero chico"?
