This adds to and replaces material from the first 'Méthode'. Includes excerpts from works by several different composers.

The unpublished Baillot etudes (Numbered 15 and 23) both contain unusual passages where the violin tunes the bottom string down (scordatura) whilst playing at the same time (down to F♯ in No.15, and in No.23 down to D, an octave below the D string).
There are also several extracts and pieces by other composers which include scordatura tunings of various sorts.
