The motet Jam lucis orto sidere is a composition taken from Oratory Angela da Foligno. It is written on liturgical text, it is built on the typical forms of the vocal compositions of the XVI century: two introductory sections, with the first in imitated style; entrance of female chorus in the third section and the continuation of the other sections, always following the rinascimental theory "degli affetti", not treating the text according to its structure (strophic Hymn), but in the direction of the text according to the principle of the motet and madrigal spiritual.
